NVIDIA continues to update its Android configuration box, the Shield TV, with new features and improvements. The latest update is not major, but it brings exciting new features that will further enhance the user experience.

The most important change that NVIDIA has included in the update is support for the Xbox Elite Controller, which is fine if you buy one. But that's not all we expect from this month's 7.2.3 NVIDIA Shield TV update.

A new option that allows you to restart the Wi-Fi service if wireless access points are not visible is now available in Settings / Network / Restart Wi-Fi. NVIDIA also mentions that the update should improve customization of HDMI-CEC power controls.

Finally, many applications that you can install on the NVIDIA Shield TV have been updated with new features and enhancements, including KODI, NHL, Smithsonian, and Philo TV.
