ABC has chosen their next main lady as "The Bachelorette" for Season 15: Hannah B.

Hannah Brown, who was a standout competitor in Colton Underwood's "The Bachelor" season, was announced as "The Bachelorette". On "After The Final Rose" after the Underwood final, Brown met the first group of his potential contenders, before the first spring of "Bachelorette".

Here, CBA boss Rob Mills talks to Variety about choosing Hannah B. as the next "Bachelorette". In addition, what other women were being studied – and some of them will be in "Bachelor In Paradise?"

Why did you choose Hannah B. as a "Bachelorette" for season 15?

It was just a person who arrived and who was really great and had a very different energy than a "Bachelorette". It kind of goes back to Colton, where he was not the guy who put his heart to heart a mixer necessarily – he was certainly sad for Becca and even for Tia's situation, but he was just a guy who always looking for someone. With Hannah B., I think her coming out with Colton was really refreshing. She basically said, "I do not want you to keep me because I want someone who thinks I am good and who thinks of me and wants me only." It was rather interesting. I think she's also obviously having a fun side, which she has shown.

What type of Bachelorette should you think should be Hannah B.?

I think it's going to be a "Bachelorette" to take, to be honest, and it's something you're really looking for because you want someone who, if one of the guy comes with a girlfriend, she will react, kind of like Emily Maynard [Season 8 of “The Bachelorette”] did when Kalon called his daughter a piece of luggage. All our best "Bachelorettes" have in common to be very strong like that. I think that's what will be an entertainment. I think she'll go out and get what she's worth.

Was it a difficult decision or did you know it would be Hannah B. from the beginning?

It was a tie to five. We talked to a lot of women about it, and they would all have been great singles. It was not that anyone was better than others. All these women are extraordinary and we obviously want everyone to be on "Bachelor In Paradise" if they are not selected to become "The Bachelorette". But, of course, we are very excited about Hannah B.

Who else did you consider for "The Bachelorette" before making the final decision?

Of course, we talked to each of the last four. We also talked to Demi, too. This season, in particular, they were all so different personalities that they all really went through. It was great to see such strong women this season.

Why did you decide not to go with Demi? I think that would have made a lot of noise if you had chosen Demi to be the "Bachelorette".

I think that would have made a lot of noise too. It was a really difficult decision. Half even said, "If it's not me, it should be Hannah B." They have many of the same qualities. I hope we will see Half in "Bachelor In Paradise" because I find it great. I could argue that many of these women are "The Bachelorette". The women of this season were so incredibly strong that it was so difficult. Part of me wants us to do eight seasons of "The Bachelorette". That's why I'm so happy that we have "Bachelor In Paradise".

So, will we see the last four and half on "Bachelor In Paradise?"

J & # 39; hope. "Bachelor In Paradise" gives them a second chance at love and you can have an iconic love story. Some of the most beloved couples of Bachelor Nation are Carly and Evan, Jade and Tanner and Ashley I. and Jared. This show has evolved. It is not because you are neither the "Bachelor" nor the "Bachelorette" that you will not be part of the Mount Rushmore Bachelor Nation couples.

Would you ever look outside the current pool of candidates and hire someone new and totally new to "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette?"

We do not have it. There is usually not enough time, because we are literally starting to turn this weekend. But we talked about it for "Bachelor" and we would certainly talk about it for "The Bachelorette".
