Elle Fanning Unveils Dancing On My Own by Robyn in her upcoming film on the transition to adulthood, Teen Spirit

She Fanning turned into a music video by performing Robyn's Dancing On My Own, in a foretaste revealed Wednesday for her film, Teen Spirit.

The 20-year-old star is sure to stop viewers with her impressive voice and sexy dance moves as she sings the song.

In the film that comes, she plays Violet, a shy teenager who wants to become a star by participating in a singing contest.

The Galveston actress took on the 2010 hit by standing on stage in an almost empty auditorium.

Fanning wore sneakers paired with jeans for the role.

Max Minghella, 33, debuts as a director with the film, which is also starring Rebecca Hall, 36.

She and Max were also linked in the past.

And according to Fanning, she searched for the role to realize her dream of showing her voice on the screen.

She told Billboard: "I've always dreamed of being a pop star. That feeling, as if I could just let myself go and perform, was so appealing.

So, her team contacted Minghella and she was finally chosen for the concert, which led her to repeat for four months.

The soundtrack of the film should be released on April 5th.
