These magic screens give your iPhone a totally different look – BGR

Years ago, an iPhone user discovered an interesting problem in Apple's iOS software. By creating a screen background of no more than one pixel, an iPhone would extend it to cover the entire screen, which would have some interesting effects. Namely, the dock and back bottoms would disappear completely, giving the iPhone a minimalist and cool look. It turns out that this discovery was made in 2016, when Apple launched the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus in a new Jet Black finish. The application of this special black wallpaper on a Jet Black iPhone gave it a sleek new look and people loved it.

Over the years, the person who created these original wallpapers has created a number of other unique wallpapers for Apple iPhones. Apple has fixed the bug that allowed these original screen funds, but after two years they are finally back and fully functional on the latest models of Apple's iPhone. The most popular recent wallpaper in the collection is a clever paper that traces the outer edges of the iPhone screen and showcases Apple's notch design. These wallpapers have been updated for Apple's new iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR models last October, but now they are coming back with a new twist: the person who created them has found a way to combine them with a series of "magic" wallpapers that change the colors of the docking station backgrounds and iPhone folders.

An Apple enthusiast named Hideaki who passes @heyeased The man is responsible for all these wallpapers for iPhone and he often sends us emails when he publishes new creations. As you may have guessed, he has just sent us a new email to show his latest creations.

This time, @heyeased has combined two of its most popular iPhone wallpapers to create a cool new series. As you can see in the picture above, the new wallpapers include @ heyeased's signature outline on the iPhone screen. These wallpapers are called "X Style" wallpapers. But if you take a closer look at the picture above, you will notice that the background of my dock is pink and the background of my folders is green. This design element is part of the "Magic Color UI" wallpaper line. He is now associated with the @ Style Style X heyeased series. The results are very interesting and unique. They are available in the following sizes: iPhone XR, iPhone X / XS and iPhone XS Max.

As always, you'll need to set a setting on your iPhone for these wallpapers to work. Go to Settings> General> Accessibility and press "Reduce Transparency". Then simply press the rocker to activate it. Also be sure to choose "Always" when applying each wallpaper and not "Perspective".

There are many color combinations available for download on the @ heyeased website, and they are all completely free. It should be noted that if you want to use the color combinations you do not see on the site, open one in the photo editor of your choice and you will see exactly how they work. The background color of the docking station is at the bottom of each screen background, while the background color of the folder is at the top. Change one or the other of these colors or both to create the palette of your choice.
