Reel-y? A new beer can serve as a developer of motion pictures

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) – Kodak said that a new beer coming to the market could be used to develop its Super 8 film.

The Dogfish Head Brewery Brewery in Delaware has created its SuperEIGHT Beer after a conversation with people from Kodak, the northern New York state technology company, most famous for its photographic roots.

Dog dogs have learned from Kodak that the high levels of acidity and vitamin C in some beers could make it a film-processing agent. This inspired the brewery to design such a beer. Kodak helped by testing it.

Dogfish founder Sam Calagione said he would document his summer trips to the Super 8 movie, which will be developed in SuperEight beer and turned into a short film.

The beer, made from pear, mango, berries, kiwi, quinoa and salt, is expected to be distributed nationally next month.
