Fogelman started the event, jokingly the audience at "Mandy Moore's roast."
Variety reported Moore's co-star, Shane West, "A Walk to Remember," surprised him when he shared an old photo of the couple after finishing the romantic film of 2002. He also delivered a heartfelt speech at the Monday ceremony in Los Angeles.
"Not only was this film a wonderful experience in every way, but it also gave me the chance to crack for this fantastic woman," said West. "Mandy, you're an absolute gem, your smile is absolutely ridiculous – seriously, it's ridiculous, and it brightens the room when you come in – your energy is irresistible and your heart is second to none."
West and Moore played a leading role in the film, directed by Adam Shankman, also present at the event.
Moore tweeted a thank you to the west after the ceremony, writing: "Stars have always been our thing. Thanks to @shanewest for his kind words on this very special day, a day I will never forget. It was a walk (of glory) to remember.
