Cowboys, the great Michael Irvin did a throat cancer screening: "I'm terrified"

The former Dallas Cowboys receiver, Michael Irvin, announced Tuesday on Instagram that he had spent the previous two days in a UCLA hospital testing throat cancer.

The results of Irvin's biopsy still seem to be waiting.

Irvin wrote that he noticed a problem when he lost his voice in the Cowboys' win over the New Orleans Saints last season. The problem persisted for almost two months. He saw doctors who advised the series of tests done at UCLA.

The father and brother of Irvin died of cancer
