The younger is not dying, it's so good, it's scary – / Movie

Having already covered vampires with ONly Lovers Left Alive, Jim Jarmusch goes to the zombies with The dead do not die. The indie author has put together all the roles for this saga and you can see the full programming below. In addition to the full announcement of the distribution, The dead do not die now has an official release date: June 2019.

Let's enjoy the astonishment of The dead do not die throw, are we going? Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Iggy Pop, Sara Driver, RZA, Selena Gomez, Carol Kane and Tom is waiting. Beyond this distribution and the fact that it is a zombie comedy movie, we know little about The dead do not die. We know from shooting photos that Murray and Driver play law enforcement officers. And we know that Murray himself will not be a zombie, thanks to the actor himself. Speaking to Philly.com last year, Murray said:

"I have a good job ahead. Get ready: it's a zombie movie. Jim Jarmusch has written such a hilarious zombie storyline that he's starring: Rosie Perez, Daniel Craig. He is intitulated The dead do not die, and he shoots during the summer. But no, I will not play a zombie.

Interestingly, Craig is not mentioned in this officially announced list. Did he end up not doing the movie? Or is his appearance supposed to be a big secret that Murray has accidentally revealed? We'll know soon enough because The dead do not die come our way shortly. The movie is locked for a June 14, 2019 release date. There is also a good chance that it will be presented at the Cannes Film Festival, which will take place from May 14th to May 25th.

Jarmusch is a unique director who makes staggered movies with a rhythm of their own. It is highly unlikely that he has done anything so similar to a traditional zombie movie. The zombie subgenus as a whole has become very obsolete due to overexposure, but if there is anyone who can interest me again to the undead, that is Jarmusch. Having this very impressive cast on hand does not hurt either.
