The race is simply better when it's night time

It may be a byproduct of the local 3 / 8th mile paved oval race, but I have the feeling that real races take place at night. Tracks illuminated by thousands of lights look more exciting, and cars more beautiful. Everything seems a little closer and the universe feels a little further. And on the positive side, it is not so hot at night for those present.

The annual race of Formula 1 in Bahrain in the spotlight is a sight to behold. Observe this magnificent departure from the pole of Charles Leclerc yesterday and you will see what I mean. Thousands of street lights, both on and around the track, give the impression that the Ferrari is part of Star wars film, jumping from system to system with the bright lights of thousands of distant suns spinning through.

Leclerc's very dominant sector 1 earned him the pole position and all-time record of the Bahrain circuit. By winning a personal best in sector two, he improved on his previous lap. The Ferrari is fast on this track and I can not wait to see how it will behave in the race. No pressure, kid.
