Winter has fallen to Winterfell and this may not be the only thing that has fallen. In a new Game of Thrones trailer released Tuesday, a silent camera monitors a deserted, snowy castle and courtyard. It looks like Winterfell's much talked-about battle, which is set to unfold during the upcoming HBO show season, is over. But who has not survived?
Indices abound. Is it the golden hand of Jaime Lannister, abandoned in the snow? Is this the sword of Jon Snow, Longclaw? And is it the Arya needle, the Bran wheeled cart and the Daenerys three-headed dragon chain? Where is everyone gone? Have the White Walkers cast their terrifying eternal winter on Westeros?
It turns out that Game of Thrones members may not be present in the teaser, but rather in a mysterious poster showing what appears to be the frozen body of the main characters arranged in the form of an iron throne.
We will know more on April 14th when Game of thrones returns to HBO – or when a star of the show drop a spoiler.
