Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Ridiculed Trump's son-in-law and senior advisor, Jared Kushner, for using the WhatsApp messaging service to lead external relations.
"I mean that every day that we go on without getting to the bottom of things, it's a day where we endanger hundreds, if not thousands of Americans," Ocasio-Cortez said at a conference. 39, an oversight committee of the House of Representatives Tuesday.
"I mean really, what's the next step, put nuclear codes in Instagram DMs?" It's ridiculous, "she added.

Ocasio-Cortez's criticism comes after Kushner's lawyer admitted last month that his client used the messaging application to send and receive messages as part of his official duties at the White House, particularly to communicate with people outside the United States.
Kushner's actions led to criticism that he had acted outside the White House policy that official systems should be used for communications except in extreme situations.
Ocasio-Cortez condemned the Trump administration for failing to cooperate with the committee's investigation.
"We have to get to the bottom of things," she said. "And to do this, we must issue subpoenas, because the members of this administration do not cooperate."
Democrats in the House convened the meeting after an employee of the White House's security office stepped forward to inform the committee that the the administration had crushed dozens refusal of security clearance.
The security of Kushner the clearance would have been approved even after the objections of a career staff.
Kushner was questioned about the White House's security clearance controversy in an interview with Fox News on Monday night, which he said all the "crazy" charges against him were false.
Earlier at the committee meeting, Rep. Jim Jordan R-Ohio complained of the politicization of the hearing by saying, "I have never seen anything like it."
Jordan then tweeted: "This is not how the Monitoring Committee is supposed to work."
