A 12-year-old boy from Michigan decided not to wait for officials to fill the large potholes that dot a street near his home. He rather dirtyed his hands and filled the craters himself.
Monte Scott started filling the potholes last week with the help of a shovel and earth from his garden at Muskegon Heights, after getting fed up with the state of the neighborhood roads.
"I did not want people to screw up their car like my mother did," he told WZZM-TV. "If someone had to go down the street and bump into a pothole, and then it would have to pay between $ 600 and $ 700 to repair his car, he would be crazy."
