Amy Adams signed to play in the film directed by Ron Howard Hillbilly Elegy, the high budget adaptation of J.D. Vance's best-selling memory of Netflix. It's a modern exploration of the American dream and three generations of an Appalachian family, as its youngest member, a student of Yale Law, forced to return to his hometown.
