Authorities arrested two men for stabbing an employee of a fast food restaurant. Des Moines police said 22-year-old Jose Manuel Perez Soto and 28-year-old Miguel Jesus Soto, both of Des Moines, were charged with intentional injuries. The assault took place Tuesday night at McDonald's restaurant on Des Moines Street near Interstate 235. The suspects came in to complain about a missing item in their order, and the situation worsened. Paul Parizek said. The McDonald's employee reimbursed the clients' money, but the police said the refund did not prevent the suspects from becoming violent. The employee was outside when the alleged perpetrators went back to the restaurant and assaulted him. The employee was stabbed in the leg but everything will be fine, the police said. Police said that an order from McDonald's messy was not worth stabbing someone in the leg. The suspects were taken to Polk County Prison, where they are held without bail.
