Jack Osbourne was the victim of a random attack while he was sitting in a coffee shop in Los Angeles, according to a report.

The star, who has just finished his divorce from his former wife Lisa Stelly, was reportedly hit on the right head by a random man on Wednesday. Sharon and Ozzy's son reportedly left the incident unscathed.

According to TMZ, Osbourne was sitting back on the sidewalk in front of a Studio City cafe when a stranger, who appeared to be homeless, approached behind him and a sucker hit him for no apparent reason. The gossip site reports that Osbourne has risen and pitched his coffee on his abuser who then absconded.

The Los Angeles Police Service told Us Weekly that a battery had occurred shortly before 9:00 am (Pacific Standard Time), but that it would not confirm Osbourne as a victim. The police said they later found the alleged abuser who had pulled out a police screwdriver before stopping him. The man was arrested for armed aggression with a lethal weapon against a police officer and remains in custody, according to us.

The LAPD did not return Fox News's request for comment.

In August, Osbourne would have been involved in another altercation, but this time the other person was no stranger. The former actor of Osbournes would have quarreled with the new boyfriend of his ex while he was still trying to rebuild their relationship. No charges were filed, both men refusing to cooperate with the police.
