The White Sox have won their first home opener since 2014, so of course they have not made it easy. A 6-1 lead is turned into a deficit of 8-6 until the Mariners make more mistakes to turn into points.

Castillo gave the Sox the advantage by giving the team an advantage. After the Mariners called the left-hander Rosscup, Moncada again refused to be beaten by his right-handed shot. He shot a single in the middle who scored a pair and put the Sox back on track to send the fans home happy.
