Always a candidate for the coolest Mortal Kombat character of all time
Today, in Mortal Kombat 11, we recorded a large distribution of characters for Erron Black, via the live broadcast of Kombat Kast on NetherRealm Studios.
Here, the developers have introduced most (but not all) of the Texan's movements and abilities, many of which are all new to its Mortal Kombat X appearance.
As described by Steve "16-bit" Brownback, Erron is a trap character with a lot of 50/50, but not a traditional zoner. I would rather agree with this assessment based on what we saw today, although it seems like the character can be a hell for all fighters who do not have any Teleport or a way around his rifle / trap settings.
We have gone through Kombat Kast and have extracted most of what has been shown for you to get the accelerated version. There is a lot to do, so let's start.
By far, the most important thing about Erron Black in MK11 is his throwing forward. As Tyler Lansdown aptly puts it, "It's so realistic that Looney Tunes" as Black hands his dynamite baton to his enemy, looks like they're starting to juggle him in agony, then reacts quickly to cajole his hat to the stealing his head as a result of the explosion that followed.
The amount of character put into this character (and many others in this game) places Mortal Kombat 11 on a whole new level compared to many other fighters … at least in this particular avenue.

Here is a pair of examples of Black's strings. The first presents his game of hands-to-body while the second gives you an idea of what he can do with his pistols:
He also has his Big Boot attack back from MKX. This is a kind of Hail Mary movement, but it is an additional cost that confers Crushing Blow properties if used twice. This is also a good confusing tool when it is associated with the threat of its slide:
He lost his caltrops but won two other similar attacks. The first of these sees the shooter throw a pot of reptile acid on the ground to inflict damage over time. The second sees him drop a bear trap that will catch his opponents. When he amplifies the latter, he knocks him to his enemy:
Erron has a rifle position in which he moves towards his opponent with his eight-shot rifle pointed right at them. It sounds incredibly good, but with a decent level of commitment. Associated with his trap attacks, his control of space has a very high potential:

Skud Shot sees Erron getting ready for the shot of an opponent, then automatically cancels him when he launches one. Burning a few meters while posing, Erron will quickly attempt to hit his enemy, making him a very intimidating zone and anti-zoner:
