Given the number of haircuts and styles of facial hairstyles that various characters have sported across the Avengers: Endgame trailers that we have seen so far, many speculations have been voiced on the time that it will have elapsed between the end of Infinity War and the beginning of Endgame. Today, Disney has screened about 10 minutes of footage for a select press on the company's California studio. Since we still did not know everything about Endgame, even during those few minutes, we learned a fair amount – including how long it has been between the end of Avengers: Infinity War and the beginning from Avengers: Endgame.
In this sequence, we got a precise answer: when Tony records his extremely sad message for Pepper, which seems to be more or less the opening scene of the movie, he specifically mentions that he and Nebula are stuck in the movie. space since 22 days. It's been a little over three weeks between the unfortunate battle of Tony and his colleagues with Thanos and the early stage of Endgame where Tony and Nebula are stuck in space.
Tony also mentions that their oxygen will deplete the next morning. Since he and Nebula will eventually return to Earth – judging by other insights we have seen, at least – we can assume that their situation is about to change. This potentially puts several scenes that we have seen in movie trailers around the same time, while others seem to be more distant in the future – or perhaps even in the past. For example, we know from the trailers that Ant-Man Paul Rudd will again team with the Avengers in Endgame, but we have not yet seen his arrival in the latest images projected to the press.
This is not the only thing we learned at the last screening. Click here to see nine other things that the footage has revealed – from the Avengers' new secret weapon against Thanos to what the remaining heroes intend to do.
Avengers: Endgame will be in the theater on April 26th. The tickets went on sale this week and, unsurprisingly, the presales set records and uninterrupted sales sites.
