Idris Elba will not replace Will Smith in Deadshot in Suicide Squad 2

Carefully skirting a series of clumsy comparisons that are rumored to be the way out of the decision to rephrase Will Smith with Idris Elba in the future Suicide team more, Warner Bros. confirmed today that he would just quietly withdraw from this "Deadshot problem" as a whole. Variety reports today that Elba, who is perhaps the only person on the planet enthusiastic following the 2016 anti-heroic odyssey, will adopt a new character as the franchise continues, instead of embarking on the skin of the supernatural skillful assassin Smith played with the lazy charisma in the original movie.

This decision also means that it is hypothetically possible that Smith – who dropped out of James Gunn's suite due to scheduling conflicts – might still return to the franchise someday, revisiting his chemistry with Margot's Harley Quinn. Robbie, or the guy with the boomerang, or Slipknot. ("Slipknot is dead in the first", we already hear you running to comment, but is not that what they want to we think?) Meanwhile, it is not clear who Elba will play, nor what steps he plans to take to protect his mailbox from all that is "fun" Jared Leto decides to flood the cast with this time. (And no, as far as we know, Leto is not really in this one, but when did something like that ever stop the Prince Of Ennoying The Shit clown from our current and former colleagues, huh? )
