Nipsey Hussle's brother, Samiel Asghedom, recently spoke of trying to save the late rapper's life and saying that he hoped someone could have fired back the shooter.

Asghedom received a phone call on Sunday informing him that his younger brother, Ermias Asghedom, had been shot dead in front of a clothing store in Los Angeles. He rushed to the scene and was on site shortly before the paramedics arrived.

Addressing the Los Angeles Times, Asghedom explained that he was performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation on his dying brother. He claims to have undergone 20 chest compressions before hearing the sirens and that the scene was entrusted to professionals.

He states that he immediately began to pray.

The brothers attended the mall where the shooting took place. Asghedom noted that the clothing store mainly hires criminals because they often find it difficult to find work. He attributes the fact that criminals can not carry firearms for the manner in which the shooter, later identified as Eric Holder, 29, was able to carry out the attack without fear of reprisal.

"Because of that, the man was able to shoot my brother, start running, realize that no one was armed, stop, turn around, walk, shoot my brother two more times, start running, realize that no one had weapon, no one reacted, ran back and shot my brother three more times, shot him in the head and kicked him in the head and then ran away, "said Asghedon.

Holder and Holder spoke Sunday in front of the clothing store where the incident occurred. Holder finally returned with a handgun, Hussle shot and wounded two other men, according to the authorities.

"It does not make sense for anyone in the region to get trapped and just talk to him and shake his hand a few minutes ago," Samiel concluded. "It's staggering."
