Citing the "technical limitations", Netflix has stopped supporting AirPlay's applications for iPhone and iPad.
Attempts to use AirPlay through the Control Center generate an error message. Netflix has updated its support pages to indicate that the feature is no longer available. AirPlay being supported for several years, the technical problems that have arisen suddenly are not yet well defined, but the change comes shortly after the launch of Apple TV +.

MacRumors reported the problem for the first time after several people had problems using Netflix via AirPlay. Although Netflix has not announced any changes, the company talks about it in its support pages.
On the How to use my mobile device to watch Netflix on my TV page, in the iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch section, Netflix says:
Airplay is no longer supported for use with Netflix due to technical limitations.
No explanation is provided, Netflix also does not indicate when the change was introduced.
Netflix has previously indicated that it really wants its subscribers to access its content directly in Netflix applications. It is therefore possible – or even probable – that it is simply a boost for people.
