Telenovela star Pablo Lyle accused after hitting Juan Ricardo Hernandez, 63

MIAMI, Florida – Miami City police have announced the arrest of Pablo Lyle, a 32-year-old Mexican telenovela star, after hitting a 63-year-old man.

Investigators said Lyle was in the passenger seat of a sport utility vehicle when his driver appeared to cut a car at an intersection.

Police said that the 63-year-old man driving the other vehicle was Juan Ricardo Hernandez.

After exchanging words, Lyle is seen on a surveillance video approaching Hernandez, then punching him, immediately throwing him to the ground.

Lyle fled and was then located at the Miami International Airport and arrested.

According to the arrest report obtained by WPLG, he reportedly left the vehicle and confronted the victim to protect his family.

Officials said Hernandez was severely injured in the head after the punch.

He was taken to the hospital where he died later.

Lyle pleaded not guilty to a battery charge on Thursday.
