The man, who was not identified, was found dead when the police arrived around 9:30 am Pacific time.
According to a tweet from the Riverside office of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, the employee would have fallen off the roof.
The Riverside County Coroner's Office and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) are investigating this incident and are trying to determine what led to the fatal fall.
