When you're a child, dying Easter eggs is magic. As an adult, we have some complaints. First of all, you have to cook hard boiled eggs. Then you have to steal your kitchen with vinegar. And when it's time to dye, do not do it even Start with us on this metal ladle. All we will say is that it is not … functional.

Enter: this absolutely awesome Easter egg from our Reynolds friends, using something you probably already have in your kitchen. A slow cooker! The best part? You do not even have to boil your eggs first because the slow cooker does it for you. See? I said that it was genius!

Start by creating aluminum walls to divide your slow cooker bowl into sections, as many sections as you like. Then equip each section with a slow cooking bag. Add water and food coloring to each section (you can even mix colors to get fun shades like blue-green or orange-red) and give it a good feel. Add unboiled eggs and let your slow cooker do the rest! On the lowest setting, the eggs cook and the food coloring dyes them up to a surprisingly bright hue.
