The 15-year-old from Louisiana, believed to have fled with a much older man more than a week ago, was found safe in Colorado. The 47-year-old family friend she was traveling with was arrested.

Domeanna Spell was last seen on April 28 as she was getting off her school bus at Port Barre High School. She then boarded a car with Cory "Shane" Disotell, whose older sister said she was a 47-year-old divorced father and a family friend. Jerrie Cradeur told InsideEdition.com that he "was in love" with Domeanna and "wanted to marry her".

The Port Barre Police Department said it had been informed of Domeanna's location Friday afternoon by the FBI, according to WAFB.

"The collaboration between law enforcement has been remarkable, and the success of Miss Spell's rescue is a blessing," the FBI said in a statement.

Domeanna had not been seen by her family since she'd been riding a car with Disotell. His family recently learned that the two had a secret relationship, said Cradeur, and that Disotell even told Domeanna's parents that he wanted to marry her. Both men were ordered to stay away from each other, but they continued to see each other.

The teenager's parents went to the police about three weeks later, and the authorities were investigating their disappearance.
