DEGENERATION X
After a video package on DX with rumors of the wrestlers speaking, DX climbed onto a tank – Triple H, Shawn Michaels, X-Pac (Sean Waltman), Dogg Road, Billy Gunn. The camera tilted everywhere and DX graphics blinked continuously on the screen. Waltman made the DX Cup with enthusiasm with New Day in the front row. Dogg said, "I challenge one of your crazy sons of whores to play in the ring with DX!"
Dogg said he had exploded and needed five minutes. Then he started talking. X-Pac tried to get into the frame. Triple H said things had changed. He said he is now a leader, so he can not come back and break the rules. He listed his titles and said he did not know what that meant, but it's long and important. "Apparently, if you put the Executive Vice President in front of someone's name, it makes them feel like they're important." (A reference, of course, to Cody, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega.)
Triple H rules listed. Michaels asked if their rules or just guidelines. He told them that they could not say "Vince McMahon." Waltman said, "You just said it." Road Dogg said, "Do not tell Vince McMahon?" Waltman said, "I do not do not understand why we can not say Vince McMahon. They continued to find ways to repeat Vince's name. Road Dogg asked, "And if they [the fans] say Vince McMahon. Fans briefly shouted "Vince McMahon" but it was awkward and then quickly faded.
Triple H stated that if they broke the rules, he would allow him to hire them and then dismiss them. Billy Gunn said Vince could not fire him. Triple H said, "Billy, let's be honest. He will buy this powerful company to send you back again. (An AEW reference for which Billy Gunn was hired as a producer.)
Michaels said: "It is time we recognize one of the most important and important members of Degeneration X, who is not here tonight." Fans chanted aloud: "Thank you Chyna!" Waltman was barely keeping up. Then his picture appeared on the big scree and they turned to applaud. Michaels called her a pioneer. Fans chanted "She deserves it!", Said Michaels. Michaels said, "No wonder I cross my eyes." Hunter asked if the big nose on his face was superfluous. People laughed. Dogg explained the joke, saying that it was because Triple H has a big nose. Then he "realized" that everyone already understood him.
James became serious and thanked God for his sobriety. He said he did not have a ton of friends, but most of them are now with him and he thanked God for them. He thanked his wife, Tracy James, sitting by the ring. He said he had made it go through hell "and hell, she was standing next to me". He said he would send the rest of his days to do everything possible to pay it back. They showed him and she nodded and sprung from emotion. He said that he was having trouble talking with guys that way, so he set up something to show his friendship. He pointed to the big screen. A video of DX footage broadcast with a cheesy song about friendship. Then a staple spread of a dog that rubs a leg. He said that it was not supposed to be there.
Billy approached and said, "So this is the part where they really let me talk." Triple H responded, "Do not make us regret that." He thanked Ron and Don Harris. He added that without them he would have no idea what a sports entertainment is. He also thanked Bill Demott. He thanked his sons, his mother and his sister. He said that his mother was his number one fan. Gunn started to collapse a bit and Hunter told him something off microphone. Billy thanked him and said it helped. He thanked his wife and told him that he loved her for everything and that he would not be there without her. He said that they have done a lot together and that they remember some things, and others do not. He turned around and said, "Excuse me while I whip that." Hunter looked up and said "it's huge." He asked Billy why he was rubbing it like that, then pulled out a water pistol and a little bit of water came out, and Hunter comforted him and said, "It's okay, Billy, at our age, it's coming in. He said DX and the NWO came from it. They showed Big Kevin in the crowd. Waltman said that he likes it. Waltman said he did not want to stay up because his knee was killing him. Nash got up quickly. "I was going to do a quad joke, but I do not think I'll do it." He thanked Bret "The Hitman" Hart. He stated that he had offered her the best singles match of his career and one of the best matches of all time at Raw. He said he was trying to overcome this in a spirit of brevity. "Stop making fun of me guys!" He said. He said the fans want to go home. Some fans chanted "No, we do not!" He also thanked Eric Bischoff. Mixed response. He said he hired him to be part of the NWO, before firing him just in time to join DX "and win the Monday Night Wars".
He thanked his fellow DX members. He said that he had had the best time of his life with them. He thanked Billy for not beating him when he super stuck his hat to his head. He said that he thought it was Gunn, but that it was actually Curt Hennig. He thanked Maria Menousnos and Kevin Underg. He said without giving him his podcast and be there for him. They showed one of the first women to do it. They showed an older woman with sagging breasts. Waltman said, "We are all aging. Gravity is a bitch. "They showed several other women with sagging breasts. Their faces were blurry. Hunter replied, "I'm sorry, but you must have finished."
Michaels took the podium. Fans chanted "HBK! HBK! He said he would like to take the time to thank his loving family, but they did not come. He said that he is all alone. He said that part of it concerned them because his wife and children were embarrassed. Billy and Dogg pulled him away from the microphone. Hunter said Michaels wore hat and leggings without ass, "and even Bret Hart knows better than that."
While Hunter stood on the podium, fans chanted "NXT!" He thanked Killer Kowalski for taking a young child with a dream and telling him Terra Rizing. He thanked the wrestlers who have been on this podium or who have already fought in the ring. He said the truth is that you are nothing without the person in front of them in the ring. He said it would be nothing without them. He's a little ripped. He said that Waltman had already said it, but the Kliq was DX before DX, and the NWO before the NWO. They cut again at Nash and Hall. Hunter said that was not the case. Road Dogg then climbed onto the podium and presented its iconic introduction to "Team World Champions". James then said, "I'm sorry. This happens more than once you can imagine. "
Hunter is on the podium. They lined up behind Hunter and kissed for fun. Hunter then said before apologizing sincerely, he needs to know what. He said softly, "Are you ready?" The fans shouted "Yeah!" He then shouted, "Are you ready!" Billy Gunn then redid it, because only he could. Then they started pouring water on the water guns in the ring, and then on branded personalities. They cleared almost an entire section. The HOF broadcast then stopped at three and thirty-nine minutes.
