Is it possible to recreate the features of Super Mario Maker 2 in Super Mario Maker?

I spent thousands of hours in Super Mario Maker on Wii U, but I still learned new tricks through this video. The game is amazing, maybe my favorite game on Wii U. This video is brilliant. Super Mario Maker 2 adds new elements, but it relies heavily on the original and uses the assets of the old Mario games. I think a lot of Switch games have been Wii U ports and improved Wii U games.
