Dietrich admires the deep course at PNC Park

In the second round of Sunday's Reds-Pirates game at PNC Park, Cincinnati's infielder Derek Dietrich switched to a 1-0 offer of Chris Archer … and knew that he had it all.

But while the balloon was flying in the sky, its trajectory was obviously intended for the distance traveled, how far would it go? Dietrich was curious, so he stayed for a few moments at home and admired him as he was crossing the bleachers and leading to the Allegheny River.

Take another look at Dietrich casting another look

You see, there are ups and downs in the river. A truly majestic explosion, clocked at 110.2 mph and a calculated distance of 436 feet.

Later in the game, the benches faded after Archer traded behind Dietrich on his next stint. The emotions had become strong this afternoon.
