EAST SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Hercules Candies recalls a lot of fragile products after information on allergies was left on the labels.
The cashew nut dates, which expire on July 14, 2019, have been recalled, Hercules Candy owner Terry Andrianos announced on the company's Facebook page on Friday. The candies were voluntarily removed because the peanuts were not on the package, said candy maker East Syracuse.
The bits were sold in 4-ounce clear bags bearing a 00369 barcode number.
Andrianos encouraged customers to return or destroy the candies. Customers who return the sweets will receive a refund, she said.
