Solange cancels Coachella performance due to production delays

"She offers her most sincere apologies and looks forward to performing at Coachella in the future," Coachella's official account said Sunday.

Solange will no longer be present at Coachella this year, the festival announced Sunday night via social media. The announcement indicates that production delays are the reason why it will not be part of the lineup.

"Due to significant delays in production, Solange will unfortunately not be performing at this year's festival anymore, she offers her sincere apologies and looks forward to performing at Coachella in the future," tweeted the account. Official Coachella.

At the time of going to press, Solange has not commented on the cancellation on her own social media accounts.

Coachella is scheduled for the next two weekends, April 12-14, and April 19-21 in Indio, California.

Childish Gambino, Tame Impala and Ariana Grande have been announced as headliners, while other artists on the list include Kanye West (who will perform a special service on Easter Sunday), Janelle Monae, Khalid, Zedd, The 1975, Weezer, Balvin J, Billie Eilish and many more.
