Becky, Charlotte and Ronda will be the main event of this historic evening!
By Matt Fowler
Are you ready for hours and hours AND hours of struggle because … it's WrestleMania 35 times!
Still under the shock of Bret Hart attacked by an "exuberant fan" (the WWE is not mine) at the Hall of Fame ceremony? Are you still afraid of an exuberant Enzo who crashed in front of the ROH / NJPW G1 Supercard at the garden? Well, we still have sixteen games to play. Of which two are Battle Royals. One has members of the freakin 'SNL cast in it. So, we are not out of the wood yet!
At least – Mania 35 stands squarely between the final of Walking Dead and the premiere of Game of Thrones, because I remember when, years ago, it all happened the same night. It was not ideal. This year, "Mania is free, clear and ready to serve a card too furred. But there's a good thing about it: Kofi Kingston has a chance to win the WWE title, Seth Rollins could turn Brock Lesnar up and become the all-around champion, and "The Man" Becky Lynch is ready to face Ronda Rousey and Charlotte bring the both female titles – in a match that will mark the story by continuing!
Tie yourself to this page all night for the latest results and follow me on @TheMattFowler for a bonanza / extravaganza live on Twitter. Remember, people, that's a lot. It is normal to get up and stretch from time to time, to roam the perimeter, to call an ex, to start an oil painting, and so on. Take care of yourself as an MF *

Buddy Murphy, WWE Cruiserweight Champion, vs. Tony Nese (Kickoff Match)
Two guys from the Live 205 in a war game, tied here in the "half empty" stage of the Kickoff Show.
Worked hard, well received by a small crowd (which is still pretty decent) and finally, where should the 205 matches. Which is sad. Sad-ish. It's still mostly a division / show that I consider "Buddy Murphy's Playground". That being said, I would never have thought that one of the 205 regular members, one of the group members since the beginning, would be the one who would make it fall. But also, it is WrestleMania. That's when titles like this change. So, Nese, surprisingly, is the new champion.
Side Quest: The volume on the monitors in the press is very low, so I watched this game muted.
Winner and new WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Tony Nese
WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal
It's the "Since Moolah was problematic, this royal battle will be forever without attribution" The Royal Battle of Women!
Hey, Ember Moon is back!
And Kairi Sane is there too. And the Riott team had to have a strong air in trio! And then Dana Brooke had two or three interesting eliminations. Royal Battle Fun overall, but it was very fast and much less important this year. Everything seems to come from Asuka against Sonya and Sarah Logan, a match very similar to the one that would have been on the main map of Mania, though they had not decided to take the belt. Asuka at SmackDown a few weeks ago.
Carmella eventually sneaked in and out Sarah Logan when it seemed that Sarah had won and eventually won, but as the audience was not as popular as Carmella, it seemed that Sarah should have won just in the first place – because the crowd broke out huge for what a big surprise was. And she seemed so happy!
Plus, did Carmella win here because ROH endured a storm with Enzo and Cass last night? As a counter-shot?
Winner: Carmella
Raw Team Champions The Revival vs. Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder
Last minute addition to the map, which at this point – why not? As much as the Raw tag champions are there for good measure. It only takes time at the Kickoff Show. What is not in real time. The match lasted longer than I thought, and Ryder and Hawkins have bragged well. The question regarding sub-card matches, especially those that have Ryder, is "do we have the lesser team win for the big shock Mania pop?" In addition, what is the current status of The Revival within the company? Rumors were circulating that, despite their status as champions, they were still unhappy. Which means…
… a roll of Hawkins for the victory. Yep.
Now, have Wilder and Dawson recovered the belts tomorrow night? Finish Ryder's curse?
Winners and new team champions Raw Tag: Ryder and Hawkins
Andrew the giant battle royal battle
Ha ha ha, we, here in the press, lost the ball when Che and Jost (who had their own grand entrance) tried to eliminate (newly jakkkked) Braun Strowman and then Strowman decimated the therapist of Jost (who, with suspicion, had the hair stripped of a wrestler). LOST. So funny. Full disclosure, we were looking for Jost. But now, Braun has the chance to lug around this giant statue of Andrew Cheddar Cheese.
Happy to see Luke Harper (the great place where Ali was out of the ring was mean), the Hardys and many other players in this delirious match have a good time. Overall, none of this was important, but it was absolutely ridiculous. And Braun throwing Jost over the top rope in all the dudes will get a lot of main stream coverage.
Winner: Braun Strowman
World Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins
So Alexa is out. She slammed her finger and Hulk Hogan came out (he would have preferred a slamming of Thanos, tbh), then Heyman came out and said that if Brock was not going to be the last to take, he had to go on. Yes, the match of the World Championship opened the show.
AND WE HAVE A NEW UNIVERSAL FIELD! Brock abused Seth for a few minutes, threw him around the ring like a rag doll, then a reference hump, a low blow and three Curb Stomps later, and Seth won red gold! A happy ending down … can we get two more?
Smart move to put that first.
Winner and new universal champion: Seth Rollins
AJ Styles against Randy Orton
First, I knew that I would be able to get off the press box for coffee when Randy started walking to the ring and come back before it happened.
Second, it was pretty good. And good game to have early. In addition, Randy Orton was the most animated and engaged in a match as I have seen for a long time. I have the impression that these two were really excited at the idea of facing Mania. And given the complexity of some of the other main scenarios that were touched on in the show, this one was pretty basic and cool. I'm not even a fan of Orton (but not at all), but those guys who have been spitting shooter comments over the last few weeks have been awesome.
A faux step forward halfway, when Styles was planning an RKO from his stepping stone. Then later, he even fired an RKO. Eventually, Orton fell into a phenomenal forearm after Styles defeated another RKO attempt. I guess the story here is that if Randy had not bet so much on the RKO, that he made hit once, he could have won.
Winner: AJ Styles
SmackDown Team Champions The Usos vs. Ricochet & Aleister Black vs. The Bar vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev
It should be mentioned: these are all good teams, but the bright stars here were Ricochet and Aleister Black, who have done very well for triple duty in the last two months. No, not all or most NXT calls do not work. And it's a fucking stupidity. But I'm glad these two clicks right now. And it was really great to see them get a big projector "Mania".
And not to forget The Bar, we had this incredible Giant Swing that lasted a few minutes while Sheamus beat 10 beats of the Bodhran on all other competitors.
In the end, the Usos were retained, making Ricochet and Black 0-3 with their last titles shot, but the match itself was more special because of them. If they had not participated, it would have been non-existent or a quick send-off.
Winners and always team champions of SmackDown: Usos
Shane McMahon vs. The Miz (The game counts falls everywhere)
It was a breathtaking drama, involving a strike by George Mizanin, who was quickly pulverized by Shane, followed by an epic defeat through the arena by Miz, where Shane was beaten for 10 minutes, leading to Shane's victory by a stroke of luck. Great multi-part match with wild but compelling components that gives Shane a wonderful heel advantage while keeping Miz strong as a beginner baby.
In fact, who among us really believes that George would have stayed where Shane had jumped from the top rope? None of us, that is who. The whole story of Miz is "My father never loved me." And we still do not buy his "love". Because George is a terrible actor. Whatever it was, despite George and his "baked potato face", it worked. And Miz hits hard like a baby.
Winner: Shane McMahon
Bayley and Sasha Banks, WWE Women's Team Champions, vs. Beth Phoenix and Natalya, vs. IIconics vs. Nia Jax and Tamina
Hahaha, Iiconics take everything!
This is not the best match, you know, more in tune with the occasional awkwardness of the matches at Quatre Corner, but still pretty good. The Iiconics stole the win at Beth and Nattie, which is exactly how the Iiconics should win all their matches. The double sniper spot, where Bayley stopped Sasha from stomping his hand, was also great. I would have liked Sasha and Bayley to keep their position, but if they would not win, I would have accepted no one else than the half – central ones.
Winners and new WWE Women's Team Champions: The icons
WWE Champion "The New" Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston
WHAT IS A GOOD TIME ?! KOFI AT THE BELT (DEAD COW)!
And he celebrated with his kids and there was a new shirt (which appeared on Shop Dot Com early and a little spoiled the finish LOL) and everyone jumped (and cried) huge and that's all what the fight should be. Superb match. Clean and nice finish. I would have liked that they play "S.O.S." at the end, but alas, it was always a great moment, and the beloved was shared by all.
I do not know how long Kofi's race will last with the title, because Daniel Bryan is doing great things with his character in the heel, but no matter how long, I'll take it.
Does that mean we need to worry more about Becky's chances of winning tonight? Since Seth and Kofi have already won? Where will we go – panting! – all three?
Winner and new WWE Champion: Kofi Kingston
United States Champion Samoa Joe against Rey Mysterio
Wow, it was fast. I understand, we still have a lot of games to play and there are only two hours left (I hope). And Rey was injured in Raw's ankle in his match against Baron Corbin. Honestly, I did not even catch most of it. It's over before I start paying attention. So … good win for Joe?
Winner and always champion of the United States: Samoa Joe
Roman Reigns against Drew McIntyre
D & # 39; agreement.
Well, we hang out a little bit now.
We have all been sitting for a while. We had a lot of emotional upsets. We had to reach the dreaded "third" of WrestleMania. But, on a positive note, although this match was rather mediocre, I think we were all delighted to see Roman A: back and B: not in the main event after being booed in the last four & Mania main events because nobody wanted it in the main event. I understand the need to have Roman's win here, but I was hoping Drew would approach him, giving him an extra boost for the main event. In addition, he went to Roman's basic final sequence after being able to beat Dean and Seth in much better matches. [shrug]
More importantly, are you making fun of the old THUGANOMICS JOHN CENA school? Wonderful surprise. And a nice turn on the "who will interrupt Elias?" mystery. Because the real questions were both "Who?" and "From what time?"
Winner: Roman Reign
Triple H against Batista (Match without dam)
Yes, we are all tired and there are still three games left!
That aside, it was much better than I thought. Too long, and Batista falling in the ring was certainly not an encouraging sign, but for both of these guys, at that time, Batista having not struggled for 5 years, it was surprisingly ingenious.
Some big tables and steps carved here, and a little where Triple H ripped off Batista's nose ring (good value for Chekhov's face jewelry!), All this brought Ric Flair to attend Hunter's with a jumping shot of Superman Sledge! Good work. We are always very tired.
Winner: Triple H
Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin (Kurt Angle's Farewell Game)
HAHAHA BARON CORBIN GON CLEAN?
To be clear, these "hahaha" s were Joker "hahaha" s. Like, switch into madness. They are silly bulls ***. Nobody wanted that. Congratulations to Kurt for endorsing Corbin, whom no one really wants to replace. But, gahhhh. It does not matter. You go out on the back, right? Let's hope everyone is not very salty during Becky's match. Kurt at least said a few kind words afterward and left the arena to cheer and "You Sucks".
At least there is a Bobby Lashley stamp between this match and the women's match.
Winner: Baron Corbin
Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley vs. "The Demon" Finn Bálor
What I like most about Demon Balor is that he has exactly the same movements as Original Recipe Balor, but he has to win. Or, in this case, a little extra force that allows him to propel the bomb bomb Bobby Lashley after Cole has sworn: "There is no way that Balor can defeat Lashley!"
Good quick fight with Demon's clear win over Bobby. Not much to say here, except BRING THE LADIES!
Winner and new intercontinental champion: "The demon" Bobby Lashley
Women's Champion Raw Ronda Rousey vs. SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch
Only Becky Lynch can make a match from midnight, agree. And yes, I know it's like 5 am in the UK.
WE HAVE ALL THREE, BAY BAY! Seth, Kofi and Becky.
It was a really stiff, hard and hard match and I loved it. Charlotte entered a GD helicopter, Joan Jett played Ronda on the ring and Becky came out with the Dark Phoenix style! Really excellent. Chops and slaps and hard knocks. These women punished each other and after about 20 minutes of hell (these tables New York and New Jersey do not give easily, is not it?) Becky ended up pinning Ronda with a crucifix roll. I do not know how long it will double or there will be a coming unification, but it was amazing to see "The Man" stand in the end.
Winner and new champion of Raw AND SmackDown women: Becky Lynch
