The PlayStation Store posts the release date of The Last of Us 2 as "Coming Soon"

It seems that PlayStation has accidentally divulged the release date of The Last of Us 2, but not in great detail.

In a recent listing on the official store, Sony seems to have presented The Last of Us Part 2 in the category "Coming Soon" for PS4. The much awaited sequel was among a host of other games to be released soon. These include: Days Gone, Mortal Kombat 11, Rage 2, Control, Blood and Truth, Concrete Engineering and much more.

It is interesting to note that the vast majority of these games are imminent, their release being expected in a few months. Days Gone, for example, will be launched on PS4 on April 26th.

PlayStation US, alongside the UK, Germany and Italy, was the first to receive updates from the shop confirming that The Last of Us 2 will soon be an exclusive PS4.

When does the last of us 2 come out?

Although "Coming Soon" can technically mean anytime in the foreseeable future, it's impossible to pinpoint an exact release date of The Last of Us 2 at this time. However, we believe that Sony will not include it in this section unless the game's release is imminent, either at the end of the year or in a few months.

Surprisingly, the last list of The Last of Us 2 "Coming Soon" has since been removed by PlayStation. Players can take this in many ways. Either it was an error on the part of their staff, which was deleted because it was not correct, or it was deleted as it was before the intention to implement The Last of Us 2 in this category.

While all the leaks and rumors before this allusion to following the next fall in 2019 have been announced, Gaming INTEL is very confident about its planned release this year. An update made in March by Peruvian retailers might suggest that its launch will take place in October, although no official confirmation by Naughty Dog supports this for the moment.

Only recently has PlayStation hosted its first-ever livestream "State of Play". A range of hardcore fans were eagerly awaiting additional details on the next installment. However, they were soon driven to discontent after nothing was announced. It is still possible that the next episodes of State of Play will reveal details about The Last of Us II, however.
