A man was arrested in Florida for allegedly breaking into a car in the prison car park a few moments after his release, police said.
Michael Casey Lewis, 37, was arrested Thursday morning in the Grand-Volcano, the county sheriff's department said in a statement.
Lewis had just come out of the county jail and was released Thursday when MPs said he saw himself behaving suspiciously.
"After being released, deputies on the prison parking lot saw Lewis pull door handles and learned that he had just robbed several cars just at the jail," the statement said.

The surveillance video captured Lewis who was riding briefly in a silver vehicle, then walked into the rest of the parking lot looking into the cars and checking to see if they were unlocked, according to his affidavit of arrest.
An officer approached Lewis, who said he was "waiting for his girlfriend" to pick him up, the affidavit said. The officer noticed that he had cigarettes and money, which is unusual for someone who has just come out of jail.
Another officer confronted Lewis after watching the surveillance video. The suspect handed him a brown paper bag that he had taken into a car filled with cigarettes, a debit card, a Florida driver's license and a cash amount of $ 547, police said. Lewis had also taken an iPhone 7 worth approximately $ 1,000, according to the owner, who reportedly told the police that she had accidentally left her car unlocked.
Lewis was later "re-enrolled" in the prison on additional burglary charges and released again on $ 11,250 bail.
