The crazy fight fan who attacked Bret "The Hitman" Hart during his speech at the WWE Hall of Fame thought it was the "right time" to embark on after the legend of the fight, revealed Sunday the case.

"I thought it was the right time," Zachary Madsen told police, prosecutors in court.

Madsen rushed to a barricade and clashed with Hart and a WWE security officer during the ceremony at the Hall of Fame at Barclay's Center in Brooklyn on Saturday night.

Madsen, of Lincoln, Nebraska, was sentenced to $ 1,500 for indictment for assault and criminal charges in the Brooklyn Criminal Court.

The judge also granted a protective order against Madsen to Bret Hart and WWE security officer Thaddeus Jones.

Madsen had already been arrested in September for harassing Haris Talundzic, a mixed martial artist, according to the Lincoln Police Department archive.

His lawyer urged the judge not to pay bail when he appeared in Brooklyn, claiming that he was "nice and cooperative" and that he would struggle to find the money.
