Becky Lynch overcame adversity to defeat Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 35 on Sunday, to become the new female champion of Raw and SmackDown.

Rousey seemed to have control after hitting Piper's Pit, but Lynch immediately went back to the table. She had the shoulders of the former UFC star on the mat for the threesome.

That defeat marked Rousey's first loss in a team match against WWE, while The Man became the first female Raw champion and the female SmackDown champion for the third time.

Lynch's career at the top of the women's division was a long and winding road that started at the Royal Rumble on January 27th.

After losing a game at the SmackDown Women's Championship against Asuka earlier in the night, she replaced an injured Lana in the Rumble match and eliminated Charlotte for the last time to win the title against WrestleMania.

The man immediately set his sights on Rousey as their match for the Survivor Series in November never took place, Lynch having suffered a legitimate concussion and having the broken face at the hands of Nia Jax.

Lynch's path to WrestleMania became much more complicated thereafter, however, when Stephanie McMahon and Triple H suspended her. Ireland's Lass Kicker refused to have her knee checked after injuring her during the Rumble match. WWE leaders did not allow him to participate.

After making several uninvited appearances on Raw and SmackDown, Lynch finally agreed to have her knee examined and she was finally cleared. However, Vince McMahon suspended her because he did not like his attitude and gave Charlotte the title shot of WrestleMania.

Lynch then made life miserable to Rousey and Charlotte to the point that she attacked them several times. Rowdy wanted so much to get her hands on The Man that she won the Raw Women's Title when Stephanie refused to add it to the game.

Stephanie thought Rousey was canceling the title, so she reinstated Lynch and booked a Women's Raw Championship game between The Man and Charlotte at Fastlane on March 10th.

Rousey said she had not dropped the title, which led Stephanie to give Lynch vs. Flair the stipulations that The Man be added to the WrestleMania match if she could beat The Queen.

Lynch defeated Charlotte by disqualification when Rousey stepped in. The Raw Women's Championship match at WrestleMania 35 has officially become a triple threat.

Another wrinkle was added to the game in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania when Rousey turned and became even more dangerous than she was before. Lynch was the fans favorite, sentimental, with her and Flair.

In addition, Charlotte beat Asuka for the women's title at SmackDown before WrestleMania, which resulted in a match for the all-win title on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Apparently, the entire crowd that was at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, was behind Lynch, and when she finally won, her deafening reaction validated everything that was going on. she has done these last few months.

Lynch now having the titles to confirm his words, the question is whether Rousey will stick around trying to regain the title she held for nearly eight months.
