Kodak Black is apologized for his plans to sue actress Lauren London after the death of her boyfriend, Nipsey Hussle.

But for some people, the reaction to his comments came at a strange time.
The Florida rapper, his real name Dieuson Octave, is waiting to be tried in South Carolina after being charged with sexual assault in this country in 2016.
The trial has been delayed, but if he is found guilty, he faces up to 30 years in prison.
He was also criticized for using homophobic lyrics referring to rapper Young M.A on a song released earlier this year.
