Arkansas hired Eric Musselman of Nevada as the next men's basketball coach. Razorbacks' sporting director, Hunter Yurachek, announced the hiring of Musselman on Sunday on Twitter.

An official announcement was made Monday afternoon in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Hunter Yuracheck, Arkansas Sports Director, shared his enthusiasm for hiring Musselman and shared an image of himself with the Musselman family.

Doug Knuth, Nevada Sports Director, thanked Musselman for his four years at Nevada Wolf Pack Basketball.

"I want to thank Eric Musselman for his four exciting seasons with the Wolf Pack and for raising the Nevada men's basketball program at the Mountain West Conference. We only wish Eric and Danyelle the best of progress, "said Knuth.

Knuth also commented briefly on the search for a new head coach.

"We will immediately begin a national search for the next person in charge of the Wolf Pack men's basketball program and will have more comments until this search is completed," Knuth said.

Earlier last week, there were rumors that Musselman would be a future head coach in Arkansas.
