A Lincoln man who attacked a WWE star described as "like a great shooter" by a victim of criminal harassment

The NYPD charged Madsen with third-degree aggression, third-degree criminal trespassing and interference in a sports event.

This is not the first time that Madsen is in contact with the forces of order.

According to court documents obtained by Channel 8 Eyewitness News, Madsen was arrested three times – twice in 2018 and once in 2019. The three arrests were related to alleged harassment and violations of protective measures by a combatant. mixed martial arts (MMA). Haris Talundzic.

Talundzic, 23, was training in a Lincoln gym with Madsen, according to court documents. After Talundzic left the gym, Madsen became "obsessed" with him, according to the documents.

Madsen started publishing a series of social media publications around Talundzic. According to some affidavits of Madsen's arrest, some posts seemed to challenge him to fight MMA for MMA, and others included blasphemy and other "violent" messages. At one point, Madsen sent a message to Talundzic's girlfriend asking her to send him a message.

The authorities granted Talundzic a protection order against Madsen, which Madsen did not seem to take seriously, investigators said in an affidavit. One post showed the protection order and bore the legend "a restraining order. lol. That does not mean anything to me, "according to the document.

Madsen was introduced to events where Talundzic was present, took pictures of him remotely and, at one event, threw him a drink and tried to fight, according to court documents.

Another affidavit on the arrest indicates that officers were summoned to Talundzic's address in Lincoln for information alleging a violation of the protection order. He told the police that he had received a phone call from Madsen and that he had seen two social media publications mentioning a restraining order, according to the document. Madsen was in jail at that time, investigators said.

In all, Madsen repeatedly violated protection and harassment orders. This has led Talundzic to fear for his safety, to change his daily schedule to avoid Madsen and even to ask for extra security during MMA events, according to court documents.

Madsen is scheduled to appear in Lancaster County Court next week.
