Since the incredible February 4 release of Apex Legends, the community has been demanding the integration of multiplatform games into the exciting Royal Battle.
Although the Respawn Entertainment developers have been unobtrusive about the upcoming elements that they plan to introduce into their game, a developer has proposed an update of the much requested feature.
Apex Legends Project Manager Drew McCoy met WIRED to answer some of the hot-button issues in the gaming community, including the cross-play status of the different consoles.
Apex Legends Multiplatform Game
Although McCoy admitted that he could not comment on the details of "future features or contents," he relieved some players by saying that the company was aware of the growing demand for cross-games.
"Cross play is something we care about and study," said McCoy. "We know that people have friends on all kinds of platforms and you really want to go to the arena to win, so stay tuned."
Some fans will be disappointed by the answer, but hearing an Apex developer talk about it in any way will be a boon for most fans, as they will find that Respawn has not illuminated their position since the game's release.

Best character in Apex Legends?
McCoy first tackled this issue of fans with a typical line "there is no better character" but gave way to his personal favorite.
"Honestly, Lifeline is my favorite and my best," McCoy said. "She has what I consider to be the most powerful ability with the care package, because I like the loot."
Lifeline has easily managed to rise to the top of many rank lists thanks to its care package. His skill allows him to reach a high level of loot at any point in the match and to bring additional bonuses with some clever tricks.
Respawn Entertainment
Respawn developer is particularly keen on Lifeline's ability to call loot at different times during a match.
The Boodhound pet bird has a name!
The interview was a treasure trove of recently confirmed information, such as the name revealed for Bloodhound's faithful companion.
Previously, the only thing that evoked Apex fans more than the origins of Bloodhound was the name of the bird that was commonly seen with them.
"It may be a world first," McCoy sped up. "It was said that Bloodhound's Birs had the proper name of Arthur."
Respawn Entertainment
The identity of Bloodhound's bird was as mysterious as the legend itself.
The developer of Respawn has revealed many interesting things for the game, making the video worthy of a watch to watch by all fans of Apex Legends.
