WWE fans have been trained to look forward to the unexpected with regard to the annual episode of Raw after WrestleMania. Yet for the second year in a row, Monday night has turned out to be disappointing. For the first time that Raw was hot, the first 24 hours of play were removed from Sunday's WrestleMania 35 card, the main event of Monday's show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY , allowed the hangover to remind you of the magic of WWE's annual showcase did not last until the third hour.
But despite an almost unforgivable end to the show, there was plenty to appreciate in this show right from the start of what could be a quarrel of female electric titles to surprise return from a legend and debut of an NXT monster. Let's take a closer look at the positive, negative and ugly aspects of Raw after Mania.

WWE Raw results, grades
A party and an epic challenge: Seth Rollins opened Raw with the universal championship on his shoulder and corrected crowd songs: "you deserve it" saying "we deserve it". He apologized for his dirty actions of hitting Brock Lesnar the night before saying that Lesnar would have done the same to him. He also proclaimed his wish to be a champion of the fight of which everyone can be proud. The new day is out. After announcing that the Shakeup Superstar would only start next week, the new WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston, challenged Rollins to win the "The winner takes it all" game later in the evening. "No shield, no new day," said Kingston, "just you and me, face to face, title for title." Rollins agreed and the crowd exploded. Grade: A-
Raw Tag Team Championship – Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder (c) def. The Revival via pinfall to keep the titles: The improbable champions won a sneaky victory to keep their reign alive, just 24 hours after defeating WrestleMania. The fact that this automatic title change was supposed to be the kind that the McMahon family announced last fall was outdated was not addressed in the comments. The game was fast and had a number of late spin-offs to blow the audience up. The Revival hit a Shatter Machine machine late on Ryder, but Hawkins had secretly tagged himself in seconds earlier and rushed to knock down Scott Dawson from behind. Category B
Alexa Bliss def. Bayley through pinfall: After a long interruption of the televised competition amid rumors of a lingering injury, Bliss made his return to the ring just one night after hosting WrestleMania. The match was short but physical. Bliss had the back of his head sunk into the second turnbuckle after Bayley hit a turnaround at sunset. After Bliss put her leg on the rope to break the next keel attempt, she hit a DDT out of nowhere for 1-2-3. Grade: C +
Lacey Evans catches Becky Lynch's attention: Lynch entered the ring with both titles while a warm crowd greeted him with a vocals of "Becky Two Belts" and a loud song of his theme song. Lynch mentioned that she had worked at a bar nine years ago not far from the Barclays Center. She also made specials on Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair. Lacey Evans came out, who, after pretending to walk away, turned to deliver a stiff straight to Lynch's face. Lynch pursued her on the ramp to launch a tough battle of credible strikes. The action reverberated on the stage while Evans, who was wearing a high-heeled dress, was released from the Dis-Arm-Her while a group of 39, Arbitrators rushed to separate them. Talk about an amazing introduction after weeks of enigmatic and increasingly annoying run-ins. Grade: A +
Ricochet & Aleister Black def. Bobby Roode and Chad Gable via a pinfall: The pace and pace of work were huge in this match, mainly between Ricochet and Gable. Ricochet struck a foolish moon disc from the second tensioner on the outside after raising the pole ring from the ground. A series of dramatic accidents near Late Fallout maintained intensity, including Black diving to barely break a pin after Ricochet was hit by a helmet / telescope combo. Ricochet immediately returned to hit a code breaker on Gable to get the pin. After the match, Roode briefly attacked Ricochet to explain that an inter-team quarrel was just beginning and that Roode & Gable was becoming a full-fledged team. Category B
Bobby Lashley presents Dean Ambrose during his last appearance at WWE: Ambrose has not quite left the territory on his back, which is often the custom in the wrestling world. He crossed a table and finished on his stomach during his last game on Raw, which was never officially started. Lashley caught the mic before the match and told Ambrose that he would take care of his wife, Renee Young, after he left the WWE. Ambroise immediately attacked to start a fight that continued on the stage. Lashley bounced back from a DDT to hit a spear before hitting Ambrose across the table. The crowd changed "thanks Ambrose" while Young and a pair of referees took care of him. Category B-
Intercontinental Championship – Finn Balor (c) by Sami Zayn via fallen to retain the title: Zayn's return to Raw saw him come up with an open challenge to which Balor responded (and quickly made a fight for the title for unexplained reasons). The long two-legged fight ended after Zayn missed a kick for Heluva and Balor hit a 1-2-3 Grace shot. After the fight, Zayn pretended a babyface promo on the crowd he missed and came back with a heel strike on the crowd. "It usually sounds like you missed me," Zayn said. "Honestly, I can say from the heart that, honestly, I have missed none of these or any of you." Zayn called WWE a "super-toxic" environment because of the ugliness of the crowd and the satisfaction it has to be critical. He promised to hold the crowd responsible every week "because no one else will do it". He finished with, "we see each other in hell." Amazing delivery. Grade: A-
Dana Brooke is ready to intervene: In a slow and painful promo, Brooke twice congratulated Lynch on being the female champion of Raw and SmackDown – at the beginning and end of her behind-the-scenes segment. In the meantime, she told Lynch that she was on the list of contenders for her titles.
Undertaker returns: After cutting a promo on John Cena for the Sunday night attack and sharing his own rap bars on the subject, Elias concluded by saying, "Mark my words, the next one to interrupt is a dead man." The Undertaker came out, which seemed to be in its best form for years despite a sharp fall in hair. Elias walked slowly to the ropes twice on tiptoe before attacking and rushing into a big boot. Taker followed with a chokeslam and a tombstone piledriver before a dummy pin counted by the adoring fans. Once again, WWE used Elias, once formidable, to create an unmatched legend. Grade: C-
The winner wins everything – Kofi Kingston (c) def. Seth Rollins (c) by disqualification: What started as a winning match with good chemistry ended with a typical Raw trope, while The Bar, completely disconnected from the story of one or the other wrestler winning the respective title Sunday, attacked Kingston (WWE champion) and force the end of the match. After a brief fight, Rollins (world champion) challenged Sheamus & Cesaro to a team match and, as expected, made Kingston his team mate.
Seth Rollins and Kofi Kingston def. The bar per spit: Did anyone believe at a distance that Raw was going to end up with a two-belt champion? No, any interference was almost guaranteed. But instead of using this time to launch a new NXT movie like The Undisputed Era or to allow a person whose actions would have been justified to some degree in the story (think, Daniel Bryan and Rowan) of Strive to break the match. Instead, we had the Bar and we had a meaningless team match to close the show. The crowd just hated it and chanted everything from "bullshit" to "A-E-W" and "CM Punk". Cesaro and Trouble in Paradise of Kingston were followed by Rollins and Rollins followed with a slap against the pin as the two champions shared a punch after the match and won their title. This one does not have to be perfect to be good. But choosing the type of Raw ending that would have been expected on another Monday of the year, but the Raw After Mania was an insult to the expectations that this show has created each year. Grade: F
