Niantic brings another Legendary Pokémon to Pokemon Go for a limited time. Starting Monday, April 15, the Eon Pokemon Latios will make a reminder appearance in the hit game as part of a special Raid event, offering players a first opportunity to grab it from close to 39, one year.

Latios must appear in raid battles for a full week, leaving the game again on April 22nd. As before, you will first have to team up with other players and face the Legendary Pokémon before you can catch it. Niantic says you will also have a chance to fall on a brilliant Latios during the raid.

Latios appeared for the first time in Pokemon Go alongside his twin, Latias, last May. The other Eon Pokemon returned for his own special Raid event in February. Latios and Latias are two types Dragon / Psychic, which makes them vulnerable to Ghost and Black Pokémon, like Gengar and Tyranitar. Other dragons, like Salamence and the current legendary Pokemon Go, Giratina, will also be effective against him.

In anticipation of the Latios Raid event, Niantic will host another legendary lunch hour this week, April 10, from noon to 1 pm local time. During this time, the number of five-star raids featuring Giratina in its Original Form will increase, with statistics more focused on the attack than its Altered Standard form.

After the legendary lunch hour, Niantic will host the next day of the Pokemon Go community this Saturday, April 13th. This event will run from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm local time and will feature an increased number of rare Dragon Pokemon Bears. Niantic has also announced a series of Pokemon Go Fest events for Chicago, Germany and Asia later this summer.
