The Customs and Border Protection Service confirmed that it was investigating allegations of sexual assault on a 15-year-old migrant girl by a Border Services Officer. The alleged assault, reported for the first time by NBC News, took place at a facility located in Yuma, Arizona. The Honduran teenager said the officer had put her hands in her bra, lowered her underwear and fumbled with it, during what must have been a routine.
