A 660 mile iceberg is expected to break the Antarctic Plateau

The iceberg is part of the Antarctic Brunt Ice Shelf. It's twice the size of New York City. The researchers say that the split could occur in a few days or even weeks. This would be the largest iceberg to break the Brunt Ice Shelf since surveillance began in the area in 1915.
