A baby and a toddler were among the 12 gunshot victims in Baltimore on Friday night.
The 1-year-old infant was shot in the leg; the 2 year old baby was hit on the chest. Police said they were in a stable state, reported Baltimore Fox 45.
Of the 10 other victims of the shooting, three went directly to the morgue for post mortem examinations.
"It's upsetting to me, and I'm sure it upsets Baltimore's law-abiding citizens, this level of violence," said the city's new mayor, Jack Young, in response to the death of two young children, reported the Baltimore Sun.

Four of the 12 victims of Friday's shooting, two men and two women, were shot in East Baltimore around 2:30 am, Fox said 45 Baltimore.
