One company offered to rehire an employee from the cafeteria of a New Hampshire school, which she fired for offering a free meal to a student, but that does not interest her.

A spokeswoman for the Manchester-based company said on Friday that an unnamed employee had violated school and society policy and that a district official had fired the person.
