Professional wakeboarder Steel Lafferty was playing golf at the ChampionsGate Country Club in Orlando on Wednesday afternoon when he had an unexpected snap with an alligator.

"I was not too worried," Lafferty told CNN.

"I do wakeboarding professionally, so I'm still in the water and I stayed pretty much all around at gators." There was a bit of concern, but it seemed like it was going on. he was doing his own business so I let him go. "

In a video posted on his Instagram account, Lafferty barely recognizes the alligator, taking a picture just as he walks around. He felt that it was about 7 feet long.

Lafferty called his meeting with the alligator "good experience".

"My shot was really good and it was really the only thing that worried me.I had to make the par on the hole because we had a bet and I was more worried about winning than the bet than to be eaten. "

It was not the first time this month that a Florida gator was making a dramatic appearance in an unlikely place.

Last week's videos show a swimmer in the middle of a busy road and another one climbing a fence.
