A child victim of bullying because he's wearing the same clothes receives new items from his classmates

A freshman from Memphis High School was reportedly intimidated for wearing the same clothes at school every day. Two footballers intervened and offered him a new outfit.

A video of Antwann Garrett and Kristopher Graham giving Michael Todd his gifts in the halls of the school became viral on social media. The clip shows the two students giving Todd a bag of clothes and new sneakers.

This act received many accolades from people commenting on the video saying how much they liked what the boys did for Todd.

In an interview with CBS, Todd stated that he had been bullied all his life and that his first weeks at the Martin Luther King Jr. Preparatory High School in Memphis, Tennessee, were filled with Students mocking him for wearing the same clothes.

"I really do not have clothes at home," Todd told the branch. "My mother can not buy clothes for me because I grow up too fast."

Garrett and Graham share the same course with Todd, so they witnessed the intimidation.

"When I saw people making fun of him and intimidating him, I felt the need to do something," Graham said. He sent a text message to his friend Garrett asking for help.

"I have shoes, brand new shoes, I can give it to him and a few items that I can give him too," Garrett said.

Graham said that they had approached Todd by lockers the next day and that he had noticed that he was not smiling, but thought that their gifts would quickly lift him up.

"I want to apologize to you for laughing at you and I want to give you something to invent," Graham told Todd.

Todd said that he was surprised by the kindness of the football players, but that it made him very happy.

"You are the best of all my life," said Todd to both boys.
