A fan turned a sign that he posted on Saturday's episode College GameDay in an act of kindness for a children's hospital.
By Aaron Calvin of Monks' register, Until now, Carson King has received nearly $ 11,000 from viewers after waving a sign asking for money because his "Busch Light Supply Replenished Requirements" which included his information Venmo.
When donations began to pour in, King decided that he was going to give the money to the Iowa Stead Family Children & # 39; s Hospital.
"It was better than expected," King told Calvin. "It proves that no matter if you're a fan of Hawkeye, a Cyclone fan or Grand View Viking, we are all Iowans, and the Iowans take care of each other."
Busch Beer heard of King's charitable efforts and decided to make his own gesture:
Busch beer @BuschBeer
. @ CarsonKing2 It's the best thing we've read all year, we're inspired.
We will match your donation to the University of Iowa Hospitals Hospital & amp; Clinics, and we'll add some Busch Light you're looking for. https://t.co/NPPrPp6zJg
Saturday marked College GameDayFirst visit to Iowa State for the hurricane confrontation with Iowa. Hopefully, King's move will convince ESPN to return to Ames in the future.
