PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – A father of three from northeastern Florida is the fifth person killed as a result of tropical storm Imelda, following widespread floods in southeastern Texas and parts of Louisiana .

Nora Dukaj, 18, said her heart was broken. His father, Mark Dukaj, was kidnapped while he was working to support his family.

"I miss him, I just want him to be at home, that's all I ask for," Nora Dukaj said.

On Thursday, Dukaj's family received a call from Texas state soldiers, telling them that Dukaj's body had been found in his Dodge van after stalling just five kilometers from Beaumont.

He is the latest victim of Tropical Storm Imelda, while the floodwaters in Texas began to retreat after the storm.

Her family lives in Ponte Vedra Beach and says Dukaj was delivering a package from Jacksonville to California after being caught in driving rain and floodwaters.

His family said that he had posted on Facebook just before his death, showing that water was rising around his pickup truck.
