Youngstown, Ohio – A federal judge ruled that a lawsuit filed by United Auto Workers against General Motors about the closure of three factories should be heard in Ohio.
A spokesman for GM declined to comment Friday on the decision.
The UAW sued GM in February for a breach of contract claim while trying to stop it from closing the assembly plant in Lordstown (northeastern Ohio) and its transmission plants from White Marsh (Maryland) and Warren (Michigan).
Only the Michigan plant remains open.
